Lichfield Cathedral Young Voices joined part in a 36-hour marathon sung by one or other other of the choirs associated with Lichfield Cathedral. The event was not only a superb community gathering but it also displayed the huge variety of mediums that can be used in worship. The psalms were sung to the main Cathedral stapes of Anglican chant and plainchant but it also included responsorial psalmody and a huge variety of composed settings of the texts.
The Young Voices did themselves proud - singing 205 verses - many by soloists who did brilliantly!
