Several of the Young Voices walked the boards in the ‘Ascension Play' (4th and 5th July 2009) as part of one of the biggest community arts events in Europe, the Lichfield Mysteries. Put on by the Worshipful Guild of Choirmen the earlier medieval play had been re-worked by Glenn McKenzie, Lay Vicar Choral of Lichfield Cathedral who also Directed and starred in the play.

The Young Voices featured as angels, singing fantastically and doing themselves proud.
